"Hooray Perth is a place worth eating in! What a find. A highly unusual but delicious selection of wines coupled with an eclectic menu of French and Asian influenced food. Delicate crab flakes on black rice, perfectly seared scallops with marrow, chicken liver pate whipped into light frenzy. The duck pink and flavour packed. The sweets weren't perfect but the cheese had me swooning. The chef hails from Brittany, trained in Paris and relocated here (yes I asked) all culminated in a fascinating fusion which works. His attention to detail and careful arrangement of food is a delight to watch if you sit near the kitchen. Yum! I'll be back."

"The service is terrible. I was here at two different locations, one of these occasions that was loading closed at 15 o'clock, we arrived here at 2.30. my friend asked for a hot bun roll the dame behind the counter was ugly to serve her as she had to turn back on the pan. we felt bad when it was only half an hour to close, at the end she made the roll, with a lot of sighs along the way. at the second opportunity it was the week and when I went in the same dame, the cleaning was as if they closed again, it was only 2pm I asked about the hot chicken roll and she looked at me with hesistation and said it could take 5/10min as I have to turn on again everything, I said it was sorry, they are. read more"

"Website for the booking was very user friendly. As one approached the appointment, emails reminder on the booking, as well as the day after the meal. A very nice touch I thought. The restaurant opened exactly 1800h and from that moment everything was top notch. The menu was explained to us from the start. All the dishes were melting in your mouth stuff, from the Wagyu Beef Tataki to the Tiramisu. For me personally the grilled duck was wow. My only disappointment was size of the dish and hence a four stars. Great food, great services but small dish size."

"This place must have changed hands since I last came here because the quality of the food has dramatically dropped. The gnocchi I order was mushy and did not have the traditional texture, although I have to say the sauce was delicious. The lamb dish my partner had looked like it was pre-sliced as it was dry and flaky rather than the smooth silky coating when you cut into a well rested meat. Although the staff was attentive (not hard to do when the restaurant was particularly empty) for the price of food I would not be returning."

"This is a small niche cafe with good coffee and satisfying breakfasts. The usual Aussie choices include eggs benedict, eggs florentine and bacon choices. A large sausage roll was a hit with some as were the various vege choices.Parking out the back as well as on the street is convenient."

"After friends recommended The Cabin I encouraged my partner to book on our Wednesday night date. We were disappointed immediately as we were told there'd be a big log fire and on a cold night the idea of being cozy was inviting. The fire was a disappointing flame, we were freezing. The food was equally disappointing. We ordered the braised chicken to share and it was a bland and tasteless mixture of canned corn and chicken overwhelmed with huge potato chunks. The service was mediocre and frustratingly uninformed. I wouldn't go back."

"There are many Thai restaurants to choose from. I've been to most of them, here and many in Thailand. Having been to Galangal years ago, thought we would give it a go and support the local businesses by eating some delicious Thai food. I'm afraid that in my opinion and experience, the food was pretty bog standard, some was OK. I think the steamed rice was the most fragrant dish. The beef in the stir fry was tough and the broccoli raw,(I love crispy broccoli). The menus were in pieces we were told to use our brains and swap menus as none were the same and we had to work out what was on offer.
