"I ordered the trio and my partner ordered the Pollo rosa Maria. Service was incredibly slow. The trio was cold and burnt. The Pollo Rosa Maria was cold and the chicken was overcooked and dry. We spoke to the wattress, she offered to remake it or take it off our bill. We requested that it get remade. Second trio arrived, also burnt. Second Pollo Rosa Maria arrived, also dry and overcooked. We spoke to the waitress. Her response this is just how we cook it. Our meals weren't edible. We tried to eat a few bites but burnt/overcooked food is terrible. We requested the bill. She brought the bill... Didn't charge us for the trio but charged us for 2 Pollo Rosa Maria's. We never ordered 2, we only ordered 1 and the 1 wasn't edible. We asked why. The waitresses response well you can't get a free meal. We don't expect a free meal but you shouldn't charge a person for 2 of the same meal when the kitchen screwed up, and we only ordered 1. We requested to speak to a manager. The waitress returned. She said your meal is comped. You're free to go, and then walked away. There was no apology. No manager. The waitress was bothered and irritated by our complaints. Terrible service. We were there for 1.5 hours and all we got was awful burnt food. We will not return."

"I have NO idea what people are talking about on here when they say that the Craftsman has bad food... Craftsman Chop Company has some of the BEST food I've had anywhere in the Kalamazoo area! Their staff is friendly AND knowledgeable. I love that the owners genuinely care how your dining experience goes- last time I went on a Saturday night and they came around with glasses of champagne for everyone waiting!! AND Craftsman is one of the few places in the area that takes reservations... which I made for next time. DEFINITELY RECCOMMENDED."

"Couldn't be better this place deserves a solid 5.0. The 4 of us have eaten all varieties of Asian food all over the globe, and all of us were impressed with the freshness, presentation, and value with everything we tasted. Soups, apps, entrees were all terrific. Standouts included the crab Rangoons, samurai buns (with beef), and the sushi quesadilla. Both more traditional and fusion dishes were equally strong. Deserves more business and a much higher rating. First rate."
