"As can be seen in the picture the menu states that his restaurant is not for people in a hurry, I think this was a typo and it should have said ‘not for people that are hungry’. I have been here a number of times...in the past and this visit proved to be worse than ever before. We entered the restaurant mins before the kitchen opened. We chose to wait as the weather was bad and we had already walked here. We enquired as to whether we could see a menu and put in our orders before the kitchen opened. We were told this was not possible. After the kitchen opened it was minutes before we were taken to our table, we then waited another minutes to have our order taken. Definitely not for people in a hurry! Once we ordered the food did come quick which was good but there were errors on the order but being English we chose to eat it and not say anything to the staff. We ordered a pizza with peppers and onions and it came with peppers and pepperoni, I could understand onions and pepperoni but how did onions disappear from the order to be replaced by pepperoni? We then had a desert where it was not clear whether a chocolate fondant came with any ice cream or normal cream. We asked the waiter who told us that it came on it’s own. We asked if we could have ice cream to which he said yes but for a charge, we decided to take it. The fondant arrived relatively quickly with both cream and ice cream and also our extra ice cream that we had ordered. Luckily they realized the mistake and did not charge us for the extra ice cream. Finally the price. Overall I would say this restaurant is medium/expensively priced. On receiving the bill I was concerned that I had taken class a drugs as we were charge euros for Coke’s."

"This is a real gem up on the ski slope in Le Fornet Excellent food, cosy atmosphere with log fires and huge sunny terraces that have a birds eye view on Val D'Isere .... It's also accessible to non skiers by the main gondola in Le Fornet. Definitely recommend."

"THIS PLACE IS AWFUL, the staff shouted at us and called us crazy, refused to apologise after rude staff and didn’t warn us about the boiling oil from spitting on all our nice clothes. The manager was ridiculously rude to me and my family, and threatened to call the police on us. The blonde waitress was extremely rude and ignored us the whole dinner. The brown haired one kept saying it wasn’t her fault even though she was the one who served us. AVOID AT ALL COSTS"

"All the excellent cheese specialties (we are in a cheese shop) on the other hand, I had to warm my tartiflette (cold soil Apple) and before it had forgotten me...So more cooking and service problems than taste.Cheesecake not terrible...Cadre très sympa quant au prix c'est dans la fore de val d'isère so not very cheap."

"We had not booked and walked in with hungry children. Service was great. Children fed immediately while the adults had a little more time to choose. Food was also good, in particular the Savoyard potato side, a meal in itself."
