"We joined family and friends for an evening meal. We didn't pre-book a table but we were seated immediately.The table service was quick although a bit un-professional; my sisters glasses were knocked askew when a waiter was reaching for a plate. The food was delicious, I had the chicken and ginger hot pot, they also accommodated my 8yo by bringing dumplings that weren't on the dinner menu."

"This restaurant looks a bit ordinary from the outside but the food is really good. The menu is pretty standard for Australian Chinese restaurants but the standard of the dishes is well above average. Worth trying."

"Somethings just never change. <br/ <br/ You'd go to a place like this for purely for the food. It's like the place hasn't changed in the past 20 years. Basic white interior, direct and blunt service, hot tea in a stained tea cup. Great place to reminisce to be honest. Now I wouldn't say this is the best Chinese restaurant, but it's definitely not the worst. It's the sort of flavours that you'd expect when you go to Hong Kong and hit up some small take away shop, except a little bit more salty and a lot more pricey. <br/ <br/ For four people, we ordered 4 dishes and 3 bowls of rice. This turned out to be more than enough and we even had enough for some take away. On average, it was about $20pp, which I believe is pretty average for a dinner like this."

"This is a regular lunch spot for me. It's always crowded, and for good reason. They have an excellent variety of different sashimi and sushi that you can order as takeaway as well as a sushi train for those who want to eat in. I regularly buy the salmon sashimi, and it's always fresh. It would be great if they had a salmon/tuna sashimi option. The prices are very reasonable and even though it's crowded, the line moves pretty quickly. Will definitely keep coming back."

"Jack's used to be a dining institution, but visited on and it was appalling. There was only of us in our party. The food came out it dribs and drabs. The roti rolls and mains were cold. It took hours for our...main to come out. In the end I cancelled my noodles because I did not want a belly full of noodles at and went home hungry. They need to decide if they are going to be a restaurant and service the patrons in that restaurant, or if they are going to be a food truck for the wine bar next door and take away orders. I did complain and the bill was discounted, but for our first night out due to lock down this was so disappointing."
