"Nice clean restaurant. Good people and friendly staff. Food was excellent and not too expensive. The style is like an old traditional restaurant that is dying in the current trend of dining cuisines. Well may it last and fly the flag of how a restaurant should look and feel like. It also has a private room upstairs that can be booked for parties. You can get in about 150 to 200 people. "

"Poor food and service (from the manager). We ordered our starters. 3/4 were fine. One person ordered ‘crispy duck rolls’. They arrived. No crispy duck at all. Just pastry stuffed with soggy duck, no veg or anything normally seen in a spring roll. Asked our waiter if this could be changed who said he would ask the manager. The manager came over and when shown the food he said it was our taste that was the problem and not the food. He said he wouldn’t swap it or take it off the bill only give another dish and charge for that too. Mains came. All mediocre. Short ribs were so chewy and fatty. No point in raising this issue really after the first attempt. Could see the manager pulling our waiter to the side multiple times after he had been to our table making us feel uncomfortable. Lovely waiter service but poor food and managerial service."

"Located on Constitution Hill, the Hen Chickens has benefitted from a superb refurbishment. The area is improving all the time with the Wolf and Lord Clifden completing a drinkers triple heaven. The Hen offers delicious food as well as awesome ales. It's so good King Kong has made his home just up the road. Do yourself a favour and go visit this up and coming area."

"This is an absolute joy! The favor, spices and service! Harborne Tandoori Restaurant is a gold mine! We came back at the end of September and came back today because it's just so good! We had the lamb aprons (undoubtedly the best ever tasted, well seasoned on the bones! , the chicken corma, the butter chicken (both creamy with Pilau rice, peshwari naan, chapati, garlic naan and bhindi bhaji all fantastic!!! This will visit a regular place if we just want some good soul food at excellent prices! Rabz's customer service goes beyond and beyond! Even if there were others in the restaurant, he feels like you the only one in the restaurant, full attention! Make this a visit and a regular place for you and your loved ones!"

"Favourite place for Chinese food. they pay a little extra, but eating seems really good quality and generous portion sizes. I will say that they can order the same thing several times, and it changes quite every time they eat it. also they put charges of coriander on our rice once that we hated because it tastes like soap."
