"I agree with most reviews. Atmosphere is charming and mostly clean and attractive. As I clean homes for a living I tend to notice some things that others don’t (including owners). Love the duck work exposed however the return vent that (even though normal) shows signs of dust on cover and also around ceiling directly above where we sat (table for two by window on left. Very tasteful old style chandelier also needs a dusting. Attention is obviously spent on decor and newer bathroom but don’t neglect the (not so obvious cleaning) Katie was our server who forgot our soup order and after her embarrassment rushed it out to us with a smoked burnt taste as they obviously toasted the top to melt the cheese. We always order onion soup and this wasn’t even as good as Lone Star. Katie was exceptional otherwise. She even comped our coffee. Owners should note on menu that salads have an up charge as a side.My dinner Shrimp and Scallops had the best seasoning and I was able to switch the set sides even though an up charge was added. My husband who always has a hard time choosing what to eat (he doesn’t eat fish) chose the pork with an apple topping. He enjoyed it."

"I know it seems like I will give anything five stars, but the only places I’ve reviewed have had tacos. Anyways I love this place deeply. If you are looking for a taco place then this is the perfect place, and I’m gonna let you in on a little secret, order your taco with everything on it. If you can handle spice you won’t regret it. Also if you want something less spicy get chicken instead of the beef or pork, and don’t miss the homemade chips, but be warned, you’re gonna need about four orders."

"After a long day on the beach we were here to eat. So glad we have the best burgers! Beats Skinny's, hands down. I had the Slim Burger and it was cooked for perfection. The waitress was great and helped us decide on beers about samples. Get the strawberry prosecco so well. Oh and you can find it in the Hurricane Hanks Likör!"

"The perfect Anna Maria Island location to take in the full Gulfside beach experience. We were fortunate to get a beachfront table for late lunch in the soft white sand, and the overall ambiance of open air dining was wonderful. Our server was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and there was even a perfectly placed professional grade sandcastle near the shoreline for amazing photos just beyond our table, absolutely beautiful at aunset. The food quality was excellent with perfectly understated Southern flair (especially enjoyed the coarse ground cheese grits--they did not skimp on the cheese or flavor, huge fan of properly seasoned grits!!! and the cocktails were all well balanced. Free valet parking was also a nice touch. We will definitely be returning on our next Gulf Coast visit!"
