""Italian" restaurants in touristy places often don't work out too well, but we were very pleased with our experience here. My wife had gluten free pasta bolognese, the pasta was good and the sauce excellent. I really enjoyed my gluten free pizza. We had three small grandchildren with us and the staff put up with them very well!"

"Previously living in Van just off Main st we were spoiled with many choices of tasty happy hr's and great venues. Moved to Bowen 3 yrs ago and Docs is now our go to. The food is great and the staff are experienced and professional. Would definitely recommend."

"The location is great especially on a warm summer evening. Our waitress was good as was the house wine which was reasonably priced. The food however was just good not bad that you would complain . I had salmon salad and would have preferred my fish less cooked. My husband’s burger was good but the chips looked and tasted they had been cooked many times. A bit more attention to the food could make this a great place."
