"I try to stick to the vegetarian options for health reasons, but I do love their wild sockeye salmon sushi and rolls. Bay Sushi's rice is flavored in such a way that it is neither too sweet nor sour. I take the time to chew and to digest the food, to really taste what I am eating, and the mix of mild flavors is really wonderful. Did I mention their miso soup? It's a legend, at least to my taste buds..."

""Italian" restaurants in touristy places often don't work out too well, but we were very pleased with our experience here. My wife had gluten free pasta bolognese, the pasta was good and the sauce excellent. I really enjoyed my gluten free pizza. We had three small grandchildren with us and the staff put up with them very well!"

"A single skalopp for the appetizer was quite laborious, and the mayonnaise drops for the dressing were amateurish. the bark was good, but again very small. cheesecake dessert was spectacular, but that could have been the half of the size."

"If you saw the movie The Menu and thought you might like an experience somewhat like that, then welcome aboard. The tapas were indeed really good but the manager is a character (which is a polite phrase for it). Bowen doesn’t have a lot of fine restaurants but I think they might have let this fact go their head. They make it abundantly clear that they only want you here for a limited time, and hustled us out even though the next sitting hadn’t fully arrived and there were still several open tables. I think that when you spend over a couple of hundred dollars, you deserve not to be hustled and to be spoken to nicely. It verges on rude and both Barcelona and the Tuscany next door need a lesson on manners. If you’re willing to put up with this, enjoy. Were it not for this, I’d have given them better just based on some of the dishes. Even though outdoors, it might be nice at this pricepoint to have some charming tablecloths (instead of industrial) as well."
