"Atmosphere was a little rowdy as the main public bar and dining area are very close together and not separated by a wall. Staff are friendly but made a minor mistake when taking our order. Wait time for our meals was not to long. I ordered a schnitzel with avocado, bacon and Camembert with a side of chips which was $25. Chips could have used a bit of salt but were otherwise good. The schnitzel itself was beautiful though leaving the Camembert skin on gave the dish a little bit of a dirt taste. The bacon was beautiful and crispy and the avocado was lovely as well."

"Great service, good prices, but food is often over cooked and using old oil. Plus I often doubt how hygienic this store is watching them batter fish in reused batter that spends a decent amount of time sitting on the bench. Nothing special here I...would highly recommend going elsewhere first. Perhaps King's Fishery Caboolture awesome service and great fresh seafood, best I have found in the area so far."

"We headed to Beachmere after school for some hot chips and a play at the park. L D Seafood was the only place opened at that time. We read the only review of this takeaway and were very reluctant to try it. So glad...we did! Turns out its under new management as of May 2017 (the bad review was written in April 2017 Nice big serves of chips. We got $4 worth it easily fed two adults and two children (for afternoon tea. They were golden brown and perfectly cooked! Friendly service, we thought the man who served us (who told us he was the owner was really nice. Very happy and we will definately be coming back here :"

"Very disappointed this time guys. In the past the food has been fantastic but this time was not worth the $45 I paid. I found the portion sizes quite small, even for my standards, having a surgically smaller stomach. Quality was sub par this time too. Pineapple fritter tasted sour, barra and scallops were tiny and you were out of oysters. I appreciated the phone call to let me know this fact but you failed to deliver of my second preference options. You are normally very good, so it was a bit of a blow."

"Dropped in for a quick meal and were not disappointed with the quality and price of our 12 inch seafood sub. Plenty of room outside of main meal times and service was fast a pleasant. A bit noisy as it is not enclosed within the mall."
