"We like to make something from everyday life. my man discovered this and I'm so glad we did it. what a brilliant way to enjoy good seafood. love the concept to sit on a boat to eat seafood. the whole vibe was perfect and the...the guns were excellent. eating was delicious, I am so glad that we did this and would do it again when we are in cairns"

"We strolled up and down the Esplanade looking for somewhere special to eat and decided on Italian. So glad we did.We shared a delicious antipasto platter as an entree. If we had been looking for a light lunch, it would have been more than adequate. Being Saturday night, we expected it to be busy. It was, extremely. Given that, the service was quite acceptable.My wife chose the Camembert and spinach stuffed chicken which she said was beautifully cooked.I chose the seafood spaghetti dish which I struggled to finish.The spaghetti was cooked to perfection and the flavour of the prawns, calamari, octopus, scampi, mussels, vongale , crab and Moreton bay bug permeated through it. Surprised to read less than glowing reports of this place."

"I am very particular when it comes to coffee. I drink a long black coffee-there is no hiding as to whether it's a good, average or poor coffee- the coffee speaks for itself. No milk, no sugar. I also like to drink my coffee out...of a real cup- not a paper or plastic version. Yes, I'm very fussy but so are you about certain things. I have discovered that there are a few outstanding coffee places in Cairns( and northern beaches) and I frequent those regularly and I do try all the new places but I am rarely surprised with new places, let alone blown away. That was until last week when I was in a client meeting and they ordered me a takeaway long black, in a paper cup. My heart sank. Oh dear- didn't want to be rude so sipped away. Wow! I have to say without a doubt, this was the best coffee I have drunk outside of Melbourne. Silk Caffe in the centre of Cairns have outstanding coffee. The real Melbourne experience- they are a match for all the fabulous places in Melbourne-even drunk out of a paper cup!! I am a convert and Silk Caffe coffee beans and their baristas are a fabulous combination. I may however ask for a real cup- that will just enhance the experience!"

"Great spot for a restaurant. Friendly staff some of whom recognise you when you visit a second and third time! Very good lunch deal that we sampled 3 times in the week we were in North Queensland. Pretty good service as well. Recommended!"
