"Went in recently for a Christening and the food was seriously tasty. Especially the quiche. Will definitely return to try a roast soon! Atmosphere was good for a family oriented dining experience. "The food was good as you can see. I did ask for a change with mine due to an allergy this was not listened too and was even told that it was fine! When it was given without items that i am allergic too, it was lovely I had a sandwich. The place was packed and the staff were run off their feet but when they came to the table they were lovely. It was a little chilly so many kept their coats on. I would return again but in the summer Price per person: £40–50"

"Found it odd reading the bad reviews as we order here weekly and the fish and chips are always perfect. It’s the best fish and chips I’ve found and the owner is very picky about the oil he’ll tell you all about it!"

"After months of not eating out it was lovely to visit Top Lock for some lunch. We chose from the lunch menu and both had a ciabatta with firs I had the Mariner which was various pieces of fish, and the husband had steak. It was delicious. The only thing I could 'finf fault ' with was the quiet there was music playing in the background but it was so faint we couldn 't hear it. And as there weren 't lots of people eating, I felt awkward as the two people at the table next to us could hear every word we said, as we could them. It just made the whole experience 'awkward ' on what would otherwise have been a much better lunch!"
