"Great range of fresh food -particularly go for the wok and grillade, where you can pile on the protein and have it quickly and freshly cooked, at whatever level of piquancy as you desire. A Chinese beer goes well with the meal and go hungry,...as you can eat as much as you want. 12 euros a bargain for Mon-Thursday but pricier 18 euros at the weekend -but still worth it. They might even offer you a glass of saki on leaving!"

"We have been to the Cantina probably 4 times over a number of years. Each time we had good food, good value, good service. So a few days ago we went again. Not good. I had entrecote, the most expensive dish, with tagatelli. I order steak rare, it was rare but hard to eat, I had it cooked a bit more, slightly better result. The tagletelli was all done up in a bundle, had to cut it into chunks to eat. My wife had breaded veal with tagletelli. The veal was better, tagletelli was the same. My tiriamasu pud was really good. The waiter, perhaps the owner could see I was displeased. I told him all I have said here. He gave me the pud for no charge, I had not asked for a reduction, I just wanted him to know the problems. I suspect that chef has changed or some other problem. The trouble is that now, I am not keen to go back. It is not just me, I see other comments are similar. The restaurant business is tough, if things go wrong, there is really very little that can be done. People are easilly put off."

"Ambiance and beautiful decoration... welcome impec. But we're still eating. There's a problem with your fries. They're black and whatever or almost... Given the number of reports, the problem should be addressed. Cheese plate not very elaborate for the price. Too bad..."

"Love this place... We have quite a few times now and we have never been disappointed.. Got to have the meal deal for around 10 euro, a glass of cidre with a savory crepe made from buckwheat so "Gluten Free" then a crepe for desert..My only negative is it does get busy around lunch as most places do in France so go before the rush 12:00 But if your in the mood for a crepe and your in the area its worth bobbing in.."
