"Great local cafe with a tasty menu. I tried the fish burger and it was delicious very sweet and easy to eat. Good balance of fish and vegetables. The bread was lovely. Only thing is it is a bit too salty so you need a drink. The beer battered fries were not that great not brown enough. The sweet potato fries were heaps better. The vegetarian pasta is also very good lots of different vegetables and very creamy. Service is good but they were pretty busy on Friday night so food took a while to come out. It is moderately priced. It is located across the road from the train station."

"Hmmm. Maybe. I was spoiled. I remember the great days of Teppanyaki restaurants at Kent St in town. Very experienced and enthusiastic chefs, good food at a bargain price. Not so much here. First, the current prices are higher than shown in the menu...photos here. For example, the Nagoya set is $57. The food is good, the entertainment cooking enthusiasm are ok, the toilets are clean, the lady does not stop cleaning, pouring drinks etc. If you have children, it is a good (but not cheap) night out. Be ready for the hard sale for Mickey Mouse pancakes. But for adults? It's just a little tired, like the chefs."

"Sunday brunch time. a slower start after a late night, just wanted to cool with a good coffee some decent eating. this caffe is cozy seems very popular. the staff was very friendly, was sitting immediately, but then it seems to have forgotten to take my order. I had to get up to order water myself. the coffee, the cap, was pretty good, exactly what I needed. the French toast was served with the most random mix of fruits. pfirsich, berries, grapes (whole) circus. overall the food was ordered, can try them again for lunch only because they are friendly."

"I have gone to the Choyan for 12 years, so I can comment from the perspective of at least 30 years of experience! The food above this time was consistently delicious and while the menu 't varied, you know where to buy some good Han Fa chicken or beef in Black Bean. The restaurant itself begins to look a little tired, with the original tables and chairs still in evidence. The visit (thanks to the end of the meal) of a "small six-legged friend" was all the more disturbing on the table (picture attached). Not what you want to see,"
