"Went last night for a Valentine 's Day dinner and everything was excellent. Our server, Jessica, was very professional, personable and courteous. The rest of the staff was attentive and their service was timely. The food itself was phenomenal. To start, I tried the beef carpaccio and my wife had the lobster bisque, which both were delicious. For the main course, we shared the surf-n-turf for two. One of my tests for a good steakhouse is how well they cook a filet mignon, and Char, needless to say, passed with flying colors. It was seasoned and cooked *perfectly*. From top to bottom, everything was enjoyable, and we would definitely recommend as well as go back again!"

"Bad service at the bar. not very busy and even with 2 barkeepers, our ordering and review were not correct. very disappointed, especially because we often come. not appreciate feeling ignored by bar staff who were busy making bowls and chatting together instead of checking on customers. that will be our last visit for a past. we find another place to spend our money."

"We expected a large amount, based on previous reviews, but perhaps because it was the night before vatertag, we were the only patrons to eat. there were some people at the bar that is separated by a high wall from the escapal, and another couple came about halfway through our meal. to begin the meal, a tablet of warm broth, traditional Italian and an olive oil bread with a tomato paste-composed butter came. different and delicious. my spouse had a caesar salat and I had her apfel nuss spinat salat. the salads were very well done, and so huge, I had only the half, so I would have space for the escape. my man was pleased to discover traditional dishes that are not listed on the online menu, and was able to order his fav; beef parm. again a huge portion. I had the kalbsalzimboca, and there was no problem with my order without changing the prosciutto and the kartoffel too sparingly. also a huge portion. we took both rest home. but we were so full, we got no chance to try their desserts. Maybe next time."
