"Went to Samari's Restaurant in Mt Hawthorn. Food was delicious and we had plenty of dishes to share. This restaurant is also listed in the Entertainment Book which gives you some discount. The seating was tight, the restaurant wasn't busy. Wine glasses are automatically set up at the table and it's BYO. They charged us per wine glass even though several of us didn't drink alcohol. It then worked out to be about $7 per bottle which is a bit excessive. Food came out quickly. Recommend the lettuce cups and Cambodian beef sticks. Chilli salt and pepper squid was very nice. Lout Char with beef, green curry, cashew nut chicken were all yum. Would go back again as the food was great."

"We met friends at this restaurant in Oxford Street and although quite unassuming from the outside it was a fabulous surprise inside. The atmosphere was set with loads of flags and thai decor and the gorgeous wind chimes tinkling away in the breeze adding to the oriental atmosphere. The menu was extensive and the service was charming, prompt and helpful. We enjoyed a range of dishes and they were all delicious, without exception. Generous in size and coming out fresh and hot quite quickly after we had ordered. There was a cover charge for our bottle of bubbly but the waiter bought out chilled champagne glasses, a nice touch and adding to the occasion. We really enjoyed ourselves here and promised to return, especially after we paid the bill, such fantastic value for money.....five dishes plus rice and corkage and less than thirty dollars a head! We will definitely return here again soon."

"Came here for Saturday lunch, the place was very busy but not chaotic. Service was very attentive and friendly. We ordered the cavatelli Alla Norma and the grilled vegetarian pizza. The pasta is an eggplant based sauce, however with their version the eggplant was simply fried and added to the sauce afterwards which is no where near as good as how it is done in Sicily where the dish originates and is cooked in the rich sauce. It was still a reasonably good dish, but not as good as Sicily. The pizza was fairly average also, the capsicum and tomato pieces were very undercooked and the sauce base a little bitter. The biggest surprise was that both of these dishes are shown on their website..not the takeaway one..as being $21 each but the menu in the restaurant shows them as $30 each. That is surely Perths most expensive pizza, so don't go by what the website shows. However the glass of red was excellent and the aperol spritz generous. There are quite a few places around with much better pizzas and prices."

"Great family, close to nature park.. fenced all around for safety and have very clean toilets. There's also another playground just outside, for smaller children."
