"This is probably the best sushi I've found in the East Texas area. My grandson loves sushi and many have been tested. Creative and tasty combinations on the special menu. You can all be customized to add and remove. Make sure that building your own role from scratch is expensive here. I have found that it is better to easily adapt one of their stack rolls from you to restore a favorite from somewhere else. The bowls are also good. They're a little fat, but good in taste. The service is fast, and the personalities are much different than an rude manager we met and work at the cashier. Maybe because he had to cover the hosting station. Not terrible, but rude anyway. OVERALL this is place worth a try to see if they fit your taste profile. You stay on our current restaurant turn."

"After a long day of driving we enjoyed a nice comfort meal in this restaurant. Dad had meat, potatoes and Mac and cheese and said it was good. My wife had the vegetable plate and she thought everything was very good. I had the Cobb salad with chicken well! The service was good, except for one thing. To refill my waterglass, the waiter took my glass from above with his fingers on the edges. He returned the whole glass the same way. Are the waiters not trained about these things? This restaurant has lost two stars."

"This is not real tex-mex food, the rice tasted like dishwater, the cheese was like Velveeta , and the margaritas were lacking in flavor and booze and tasted like slush machine. Service was great staff was friendly and accommodating. Do not go here if youhave ever had actual tex-mex,(Houstonians be warned) you will fall into depression."

"I stopped into this place for the Calamari, it was served hot with lemon wedges, with a little salt added they were delicious. The marinara sauce was also a good accompaniment to the dish. 5* for the Calamari. I ordered the trio chicken parm, lasagna, fettuccine as an entree. The chicken parm and lasagna were doused in cheese which overpowered ever other aspect of the two dishes. The lasagna was rich with the meat sauce but was not really layered like I was expecting. 3* for the entree. I did not try the pizza, which did look good from what I could see from other diners. Overall a barely four star effort due to the entrees lacking depth and relying on copious amounts of cheese. Service was outstanding and everything was served in a timely manner. Every item was hot and right off the service line. This isn’t an old school Italian restaurant like you will find in a major city, but it will scratch the itch for several items- the calamari being one of them. The red sauce is really good and has a nice depth to it. The pizza also looked like a strong choice, with basic toppings only. No anchovies or green olives."
