"Tried this place twice. First time my husband ordered a curry which was pretty good. On the strength of this we ordered a big meal for people last night which was appalling. Ordered selection of starters. Two different sorts of spring rolls which turned...out to be pancake rolls so dripping in fat that one completely collapsed in the bag and couldn't be eaten, they were mostly just filled with underseasoned beansprouts and inedible. Was told one sort would have prawns in, but only a few flacid bits of what could have been chicken. Sesame toasts were thick with a rubbery, presumably prawn, but who could tell, layer and so oily which none of us could eat. BBQ spare ribs were ok as was the crispy seaweed. Our mains were all disgusting. Chinese pork chopsuey with only beansprouts and onions in, no other veg and meat had none of that red tasty seasoning that makes it Chinese style, was fatty and disgusting; tasteless and flacid chicken with cashews with just beansprouts again; duck in plum sauce which turned out to be duck in pineapple and so fatty it was inedible; chicken with ginger and springonions was edible and that's about it. Rice and prawn crackers were acceptable. Our food recycling ate well but we didn't. Would not use again. Didn't go back to complain because where do you start, and do I really want to gather all our opened cartons and food on plates and take it back to show them?"

"Ordered takeout last night from Highlander Thai, the food took over an hour to be cooked, then we were told there was no driver on so could we come to collect it. Once we got home we realised we were 2 dishes short, contacted the restaurant to resolve the issue but the girl on the phone became irate and claimed we never ordered it to begin with. Told us we should have 17 trays, we had 15. Not believing us she then wanted to come to our house to see the food, which baffled us! Then told us they’d cooked the extra dishes even though they said we’d never ordered them (work that one out) going back to collect the missing dishes we were then asked to pay for them AGAIN, called them out on the calculation of the bill, we had already paid for them. Again they accused us of lying, and then calculated the bill again and what a surprise that fell short of the £70 we had paid and therefor proved that we had paid for food they hadn’t delivered, but added on £7 for no reason? Unwilling to give us the food without paying a second time, we decided to leave. The treatment we received from the counter staff was diabolical. I had to ask her not to shout at me talk over me. As for the food that was given, one portion of chips was burnt, the other undercooked, the ribs were foul, the other food bland and all of us had upset stomachs after it. I would never ever go here again. Over priced, tasteless food, with argumentative, rude and incompetent staff. APPALLING! Left comments on their Instagram page about this shortly after, which were subsequently ignored."

"Worst meal we've had in a long time: Food arrived 25 minutes late despite pre-ordering, so barely warm. Crispy pancake roll, half full soggy. Coating on the so-called crispy chicken soggy cloying. Batter on chicken balls not cooked all the way through. Rice dry and clumping. Left us both feeling sick a lot went in the bin. Usually have good food from this shop but tonight's sad offering excelled at being awful, doubt we'll use them again."
