"Kintaro is your A typical sushi train restaurant, pretty much exactly what you would expect. Service is very prompt, although a few more smiles around the place would make it a little more comfortable. I don’t normally venture into sushi train style venues, as I find that most of them are identical. I could see behind the counter, plenty of the coloured sushi plates already made up and ready to choo choo! The food freighted on past me, looking very colourful and fresh, it was quite hard to choose. Nothing really jumped out at me, so just got some Karaage chicken, tempura prawn nigiri and okonomiyaki (seafood pancake). The first two were off the train and the pancake was made fresh. When my pancake arrived, it was hot and fresh, unfortunately I could not see nor taste any seafood in this, granted it is only $4, but still, some hint of seafood would have been nice. <br>

"The food was good but not great. I ordered a 6 pack of chicken and a Hawaiian pizza the chicken was nice but the chips it came with were a little bit soggy the Hawaiian pizza was good only because they gave lots of ham."

"It was expensive relative to what we received. We ordered 2 entrees and 3 mains to share amongst a family of 4. The kids didn't like any of it really and just ate the plain rice. The adults weren't impressed by any of it. If it was cheap we would have been ok with it, but for the price I'd expect better. Nasi goreng was thick and sludgy, pad Thai was ok, but some crunchy noodles ruin it. The chicken curry was not too bad. The spring rolls were not bad, the pandas chicken was just chicken, nothing like what the flavour I've had in other pandas chickens I've tried. I won't be back and wouldn't recommend."

"We last went here during its previous incarnation as 'Grace' and now discovered they have got rid of the 'French Revolution' theme and taken the decor in the big rear room upmarket. The place was absolutely heaving with people by 7pm on a Friday. Our dinner was a bit chaotic (nothing to do with the restaurant) as we had a big family party celebrating a 6 year old's birthday. The staff managed all this very efficiently, keeping the food coming on big platters. It was a bit hard to concentrate on the food, but it was all quite unusual and nearly all delicious. The gnocchi dish was especially good, and the lamb. They suggest sharing everything on the menu, which we did. In fact there was far too much food but they happily packed the remnants up as takeaway. And they gave us plates for our own cake for the birthday girl. Yes, definitely recommended. Prices quite high but big serves and extremely family friendly."

"I was pleasantly surprised. I had been before but not for a long time. The atmosphere was really nice. I liked the nice cloths on the table. The food was really nice and the service was good. I'd recommend going there for sure."
