"Carefully prepared sushi as well as a vast array of traditional Japanese cuisine set this establishment apart from other restaurants in the area. That, combined with the best service imaginable, made for a very sumptuous dining experience. I am somewhat of a local and can say unequivocally that this restaurant, hands down, is the best in the area. Would highly recommend making a reservation well in advance to be seated quickly."

"We were seated at the bar which ended up being a great choice because the bartenders were fun to interact with throughout our meal. They were very knowledgeable about the menu and oyster selection. I wish I could tell you about the sashimi dish pictured, but my wife enjoyed it too much to share. I had the tuna poke tower and it was absolutely delicious. The main feature of this restaurant is their fresh oysters, and you won't find anywhere better in Pismo for those."

"Besides the food being incredible the highlight of the evening was when my friend asked if there was anyway to know what was in the salad dressing because she loved it so much! Next thing we know Candace, the chef is sitting down at the table with us. She wrote down how to make it and explained in detail to us how to cook to reduce the wine and vinegar."

"Our server Makayla was amazing! She answered all of our questions and her customer service was beyond what we expected. We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday so I chose to have our dinner outside by the fire pit overlooking the ocean as the sunset. It was perfect for us. A lot of the reviews mentioned the service was slow and I could see that if you have somewhere to go or are on a schedule. We had appetizers, dinner, dessert and drinks so we were there for about 2.5 hours....which we didn't mind at all. We enjoyed the family friendly ambiance even though we were there without our kids. We will definitely come back."
