"This is a hidden gem in Queretaro. It's a small place with an open kitchen. The server speaks wonderful English and is helpful in explaining the dishes and their ingredients. The food is not your typical Mexican food. The dishes are wonderfully creative inventions with fresh, quality local ingredients. They make their own salsas and drinks. Try the techape drink, a tea of pineapple and orange. Highly recommend this place."

"Lovely retaurant over looking the lake in juriquilla. The wait staff was attentive but not hovering. The setting was beautiful and the food was delicious. I had the shrimp and steak molcajete. Basically an artisenal Mexican spice grinder used as a big bowl filled with juicy steak and shrimp. Similar to fajitas, this dish comes with bell peppers, onions and a side of tortillas. They also have an extensive drink menu. The Michelada, pina colada and tamarindo margaritas were on point."

"Trattoria is a small restaurant placed in a beautiful street corridor next to a beautiful petite street plaza. Food is good, pasta over all was well cooked. Portions are not the strongest of the plates and their weakness are two things: A) only one option...of wine, they urgently need a cart du vins. B) The tables and chairs are the most unmatched things in the whole corridor, ugly, uncomfortable and it gives a very poor look. The attention was good, you don’t need to get a full dinner, even a coffee is well served here."
