"This wonderful hotel and restaurant is really very special. Owned by a family who clearly care deeply about every guests experience, along with staff who are rightly proud to work at The Tudor. My husband and I enjoyed a most wonderful stay as well as beautiful, well priced food. Amanda, the receptionist, is a superhero and we are sincerely grateful to her and all of the staff for a first class experience. We visited Bridgewater for a family party, but will return just for a stay in this fabulous hotel again. Thank you very much"

"This has to be the most useless Indian takeaway in the whole of Somerset or probably England you place a order and your told 1hr 20mins fare enough they are busy but 2 1/2 hrs and no food had to cancell and order from a decent Indian in Burnham on sea which was delivered and absolutely lovely food So if you want Indian food DON'T!!! ever bother with this shower they are completely Useless"

"As we were staying at a caravan site nearby we decided to look for an Indian restaurant. Although it had a appealing looking restaurant we decided to order a take away. We ordered meals we usually have back home and can honestly say it was even better than our usual Indian. Throughly recommend Spice Cottage."

"I ordered a takeaway as I have used oscars many times before but when I received it I was discounted as the fish and onion rings were very greasy and the chips were soggy not an enjoyable meal I ate it as I was hungry but won’t be ordering this food again."

"Rude owner I ordered fish and chips for my wife and me And chicken burgers and chips for my daughters Ours came out cold as if they jumped out the sea when served to our table outside When I went in the girl behind...the counter was fine and apologetic, but the owner said it would be after mins I must have time travelled somewhere as we had just got the food When the girl agreed with me that it was cold the owner said some unsavoury words under he’s breath and said I’ll suppose I’ll give you fresh ones ???? As for the food !!! a bit dodgy the next day Not even plastic cutlery just the old wooden fork Won’t go back again"

"Nestled in a beautiful location. Staff are all friendly, welcoming, attentive. Modern decor. Food was incredible! Huge portions, fresh, full of flavour. Menu caters for all dietary requirements. I had the goats cheese vegetarian burger which was divine. The garlic bread was juicy, the onion rings crispy and moreish. My partner's fish was fresh and succulent. Amazing atmosphere. Cannot recommend enough. We were lucky to get a table was we booked last minute. This is really popular so book in advance. Really happy we happened upon this during our visit. Lots of happy families dining, inclusive of all visitors."

"We visited two fish and chip shops in burnham. that is also the one we would come back. loved the fact that they had a mini-fish/chip menu for an adult and that was also nice. highly recommended to go something out of the way for this."
