"Excellent choice to stop for picnic/camping feel dinner. Enjoyed BYOB on picnic tables with top notch food. Pick up your order at the counter on a picnic tray with utensils, served fresh hot in to go type containers (our meals fit in containers with lids, unlike other diners with the full lobster meals).The steamers were delicious, along with the tasty lobster roll with plentiful meat, and the Nashville chicken sandwich was ?bang bang? delicious, as quoted by the one of us who ate that. I even loved the French fries! Blueberry pie was good. Cole slaw could have passed on not as soft as I prefer. Staff was friendly, and the area was clean and well kept. We were even checked on at our picnic table. Probably will return for another meal on this same trip!!"

"This is a fantastic jewel in Acadia, not to be missed. We cannot remember eating a better meal in ages. There is nothing on the menu that is an afterthought. Maureen is deliberate in making sure each dish is prepared with skill and the flavor profiles were dead on. A basic salad was anything but. Local treasure Beech Hill Farm provides the foundation for a lot of the produce and then Maureen takes it next level. The tuna melts in your mouth. Our group had the chicken (excellent), halibut (a thick steak that is delicate and delicious) and the gnocchi was so good my husband shed a tear when it was done (ok, sort of kidding. But he was still talking about it a few days after). The desserts are no joke so do NOT pass. Go for the brulee, the chocolate mousse (outstanding and I don't even like chocolate or mousse), and the ginger chocolate cake if they are on the menu. If they aren't then just trust them and get whatever they recommend. I swear nothing will be a mistake. We will be back this is the kind of place you should go out of your way to visit."

"Really delicious and elevated. Portions are reasonable and the food is expertly prepared. The only downside is that we were at one of the smaller two person bench tables and the server had to wedge herself between us and the table next to us to serve them. It was pretty awkward to have her backside so close to our table quite a few times. It's a small restaurant. We would definitely return when the weather is nicer so we can sit outside. "Our dining experience at the Drydock Cafe was the highlight of our recent Acadia vacation. The crab-stuffed portobello, baked stuffed scallops and baked stuffed haddock were delicious.Our waitress was attentive and very pleasant.We will most definitely return the next time we pass thru"

"Food was overall excellent, I had the crab cake special and it was one of the best crab cakes I’ve ever had. My partner had the fried chicken sandwich and it was another winner. Smashed potatoes and biscuits were excellent, roasted cauliflower was a little underdone and over dressed with a not so flavorful sauce. Price was fair, and we were grateful they were open off season! My only comment about atmosphere would be to suggest to turn the lights down… it’s super bright and lowering the lights is an easy way to create coziness and warmth."

"Where to start. Its though to when there are so many good things to say about something. • Great tasting food, some of the best tasting food I have had in Maine. • Some of the hardest, working, most friendly staff I have encountered in a long time throughout my travels. • Very aesthetically pleasing. • If you plan on coming here, get here at 5 o’clock. I was here at 5 o’clock by accident and the wife and we stopped in and it filled up within the first 25 minutes. That should tell you something about the quality of food."
