"Finally got the chance to take my good friend, Donna, to try Koi. Once you're inside, you're no longer in Raleigh, the interiors would not be out of place in Kyoto or Sapporo . We enjoyed the bright and fresh taste of our green curry and masaman today. Well done and thank you, Jason."

"Probably more of what I had read in the reviews. It's best this place is fine, not great, as some people had said. The location is easy to reach and the parking lot was easy to find. Not crowded, but it ends there. The food was ok, typical sushi, etc. Pricey, but we were by chance there when they offered to buy one, get one free. The interior of Sushi One was simple, nothing special, actually kind of Drab. I can at least say I've been and probably don't go back."

"This is my favorite sushi spot in the triangle. I have tried several places, many recommended, but this is the one I want to come back again and again. their prices are very reasonable and the sushi is perfect. in the last five years I would say that I have been here about 20 times (dine in and take out) and I never had a bad experience. the variety of sushi is beautiful and the quality is always very high and perfectly prepared. service was also never a problem. Internal and outdoor eating is nice, with a good mood to the place for something casual or a beautiful night out. I am a recurring customer and will continue to be!"

"Customer service is awful. The lady that works at the front is so rude. The service is consistently rude and off putting. The food is delicious, but the customer service really ruins for me.If you want more business, be nicer to people."

"Let me start by reminding our waitress she was amazing. Now, let's get down to the experience itself. This place has been impacted by covid heavily as well as staff shortages, but they are amazingly prompt. You may have some experiences with inaccuracies with your orders even while dining in. Please be patient! I believe at least from our first experience here they had only one cook, one cashier, one sushi chef, and one waitress while we were there. Our waitress took our orders by memory and she is elderly so there were some flaws but she was great so please don't think what occurred put me off of this place in the least. The traditional hibachi experience of sitting around the flattop grill with others due to covid is not a option so you have a more traditional restaurant experience while still getting the hibachi menu most are use to at these establishments. I ordered the filet and chicken but I received a filet and shrimp. More on that in a moment. Portion sizes were excellent. I got the standard soup, salad with ginger dressing, fried rice, noodles, filet mignon and the aforementioned shrimp. I also ordered 6 pieces of sashimi which were tuna mackerel and red snapper. The sashimi was great excellent size cuts and presentation. My meal had some flaws and some surprises. Most establishments that are similar to this that I have visited do not offer noodles so big +1 for this. Loved the fried rice, I appreciate the egg in it a great deal. Why I rated it 4 stars vs giving it 5 is that this establishment does not take allergies into consideration with their meal prep. Yes, I know cross contamination can occur but at least give me the option to remove as much risk as possible. I did not get vegetables which normally comes included in a hibachi meal and I'm deathly allergic to mushrooms. I did not get the option to remove them being their vegetables are premixed and cannot be substituted. I also have a shrimp allergy, not as bad as the mushroom one so when I received a heaping side of shrimp with my order I was a bit put off by this. Our waitress, mind you, elderly and took our order completely by memory had everything perfect but this. She made amends she had a cook make me a side order of chicken to go when she inquired why I didn't eat the shrimp. I really loved her personality and her sincerity and concern when she realized the error she made and appreciate the effort. Great food, love the sushi a lot but if you have allergies you might want to stay clear of this one."

"Overall experience quite good. We enjoyed our food and the ambience. Server was fine, but I was hoping for a little more expertise and confidence from waitstaff in an upscale sushi place. More menu training might be helpful. Breakdown of what we ordered: -Seaweed salad: tasty and refreshing. -BBQ pork buns: heavenly. -Curry noodle: rich, complex broth. Enjoyed. -Angry salmon: other rolls were purchased at the table, but this was the favorite. Good heat and flavor. I can"
