"I Visited the new West Knoxville location on Valentine’s Day. The atmosphere was awesome the wait staff was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. I had the broiled seafood platter, and it was awesome . The only complaint I have, would be with the bar service. Every time we ordered another adult beverage it would take 5+ minutes to receive it. Definitely the best seafood restaurant anywhere close to Knoxville"

"We were so disappointed with our dining experience at Calhoun’s on Bearden Hill. On Christmas Eve you expect a wonderful dinner and atmosphere, but it was any but. We felt so rushed as if we were holding them up. We had 7:45pm reservation and only stayed about an hour. They stopped serving beer and wine half way through our dinner without telling us (we only got one drink). Finally 20 minutes later the server was able to get me another glass of wine but failed to bring the rest of our party another drink. The salmon was very dry and tasted like an overcooked frozen product. The staff were loud and pretty much acted like we were not there as they were cleaning the floors and rushing to get out. We will not be back."

"Had the most delicious roasted jerk chicken, sorghum whipped sweet potatoes and braised greens. Everything was seasoned to perfection, especially the greens! I could have just had those and would be happy. One of my favorite restaurants. All three of us at the table were very pleased with our meals. Our service was excellent as well. Kuddos to the chef."

"I hate it, ever a bad review, but today I went to eat with my family. my mother-in-law had an operation in her mouth and can only eat suppen. the waitress rushed to the decision what we wanted and was very pushy about the sweet soup. my mother-in-law tried to find out if she could eat it, and when she went to ask the waitress a question, the waitress turned back to us and went to another table. She never said that I gave you a moment, she just turned us back. it was very disappointing and has hurt my mother in the sit feelings and made it so that she no longer wants to come back, and this comes from a woman who often order from here and has done nothing but rave over this place. I'm sorry to leave such an evaluation, but an rude waitress ruined our experience and because we probably aren't back."

"They hook it up so fat. This picture is very deceiving. Had somebody fetch it for us. You don't know if it's the new Yorker or the reuben. Perfect amount of that tangy, melted swiss. Wasn't overrun with too much 1000 island. Love the saurkraut. Thanks for the midnight snack. Probably ran out of marbled rye, going for that regular rye. It's cool."
