"We went to eat around 3:30 this afternoon. We were seated in a timely manner. We received water and hush puppies after just a few minutes. However, NO server ever came to our table to even take our drink order. After waiting 20 min my husband went to the hostess stand and complained. She went and talked to someone and said they would be right out. We waited another 15 min and finally walked out. 35 min and no one had acknowledged we were even there after the first few min. There was one server waiting on 2 tables. He looked our way a few times but never came over. I was so disappointed. I know it was an off time but the other 2 tables weren’t having any issues being waited on. One couple came in about 15 min after we had and had already received drinks and an appetizer. We used to go there all the time and wanted to go since we were in town to visit with family and friends. What a disappointment and waste of time. No one even acted as if they cared we walked out. I hope the people walking in as we left received better service."

"The food and service was good but when I reserve a table a week in advance almost. You’d think that they would would sit us at a real table and not the smallest table in the bar. I also I had wrote that it was our anniversary, what’s the point of putting something down and reserving a table when we could have just went sat at the bar."

"Update: First time ordering in person. Got a ham poboy and fries. Food was amazing and the staff was delightful. Fried Catfish with side of potato salad and boiled corn. Amazing food, felt like I was eating at a family back yard fish fry. Placed another order via Waitr App. food was well packaged and prepared to perfection. This time I got: Half Half Box w/Fried Fish and Butterflied Shrimp side of Coleslaw, Boudin Balls and Side Toasted Bread. Side (1 pc. Whole Fried Fish The fried fish was even better than last time, the french fries were perfectly seasoned and fried. The Boudin balls bursted with flavor and all the sauces tasted fresh and home made."
