"All Good Things, Absolute Thai. The one disappointing thing about this review is that I am not able to click an 'I Love It ' button instead of the 'I Like It ' button. From entry into Absolute Thai, to the ordering, to the taste and authenticity of the food, to the complete experience, this was a fantastic choice for an afternoon lunch. The Thai iced tea, tom yum shrimp soup (spicy just the way I wanted it), panang curry shrimp (which was absolute tops), and sticky rice with mango (my new favourite Thai dessert) made Absolute Thai my first favourite Thai restaurant during my visit to DC."

"Food was very good and a lot of variety. My friend had the best quesadilla she ever had and the Texas hot chicken is spicy and flavorful. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. The delivery of the food was a little slow but it makes sense for the time they take to make the food really high quality. The ambience is well thought out and it has enough room to not feel crowded or overwhelming. Overall, a very great brunch spot, especially during the week."

"The venue was very spacious, art everywhere, and had a little book section. We came for brunch and had a relaxing time. The menu has a lot of unique options, but they only had mimosas and Bloody Mary’s for brunch drink options."

"– affordable I’m very picky when it comes to my chai: spicy, please, and not too sweet. Tryst has been the closest (next to homemade and at the Mudhouse (Charlottesville with a pleasant frothy-creaminess in a large cup. They also offer the Chaippucino, which is, you guessed it, chai cappucino. Also very, very good. I haven’t eaten here, but the desserts seem simple and great to accompany a conversation. “Real” food and alcoholic drinks are also served at all hours, 6:30AM to 2 or 3AM. The decor is broken-in comfort with mix-and-match couches, loveseats, and singles. Books and art line the wall, guest artists perform (when I went, it was jazz…tres chic! , and (at night the air is buzzing with intellectual discussion, political talk, laughter, and the occasional confession. It felt indie-trendy; not flashy, but definitely stimulating. It’s one for the artsy/creative type and a completely different vibe than the other lounges and bars that line Adams Morgan."
