"The prices for the amount of food you receive are good. As far as being authentic Mexican food...not quite. The meats are flavorful: grilled chicken/pollo asado, steak/carne asada and carnitas/pork, the flavors are on point. The best thing for me was their salsa bar, everything tasted fresh. The only reason I gave them. 4 stars was because the nachos had a super sweet sauce on them and so did the red enchiladas and I don't care for sweet in my food. Overall it was good. I will be back to try their burritos."

"If you are not in Folsom to watch the Intercollegiate Rowing Championships, make a detour to dine at La Calle. The Mexican food here is superb. The margaritas are large and smooth and come in numerous flavors. The pork carnitas would satisfy the guests at a state dinner in Mexico City. Shrimp tacos and those filled with Mahi-Mahi received raves from those among the twelve rowing parents who selected them. Our waitress was amiable, helpful, amusing and kind. The outdoor dining area is charming. Too bad we live 3,000 miles away. La Calle is a find."

"The Brussels sprouts are perfectly cooked. They weirdly taste like a nice fresh McDonald's fry. The garlic fries are very good also I love the fry they use. Fast, hot and fresh food!"
