"We visited the Floridian on a rainy night in February and had a great experience! The atmosphere and service were top-notch. They have a lovely outdoor area, and had it not been cold and rainy we would have loved to sit outside. I had a fantastic cocktail (the Pine-Mingo), and my husband and I split the Company's Coming plate. The pickled veggies and bread were great, but the fried green tomatoes were a bit on the bland side. We also had salads- I had the Citrus Beet Salad and my husband had the New Cobb with shrimp. Both were fantastic. If we're back in St. Augustine we'll definitely return!"

"This place on the way to home from South Florida, and I am glad we did it! best scalopps I've ever had! We liked to drive the extra mile past the chains at the 95 exit for some real local seafood. excellent eating, excellent service and, oh yes, the best scallops I've ever had!"

"Our wait was 30 minutes. Great neighborhood with cool architecture! Oh the food was awesome! We had the Kings French Toast and Breakfast Egg Sandwich. Both were delicious. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere is great. You will not bedisappointed to eat here."

"Plenty of seating and shade which made todays lunch very comfortable. Shrimp tacos were delicious but the steamed broccoli was raw and the replacement sweet potato fries were not great. The goombay smash cocktail was very good."

"When I?m deciding what I want for lunch, my first question in my head is... ?is this restaurant/ food truck better than uptown scratch kitchen??? Usually the answer is a resounding ?NO?. As a result I spend more time with Kyle @uptown than I do with my wife. Fries are best in town Fish n? Chips can?t be beat Philly is fantastic!"

"Wonderful mom and pop joint.A great way to beat the chain shops. Great flavors and a menu with variety really make this a must visit place.The fried plantains and corn cakes are the biggest hits!My only complaint is that everything is just a little saucy/wet. Normally, I can be okay with that but the sauces are also a bit sweet. This overwhelms the taste buds a little. A fish or shrimp taco should not really be dripping sweet sauce."

"Wife and I had a wonderful experience. Staff was friendly and personable and the food was amazing. I highly suggest the lasagna if you’re looking for a pasta dish. Next time we come through this way, we will definitely be stopping by. Also, make a reservation. We were lucky to get a table without one and overheard the couple behind us being told that the wait would be about an hour. I would happily wait an hour after having experienced what Violas has to offer though!"
