"We popped in on Thursday evening around 11 o'clock. Cool atmosphere, nice music playing in the background but we could still have a conversation. What makes a big difference is the table service, no need to queue to get served. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Cocktails are amazing! Deffinetly recommended and definitely going back!"

"Always loved Koya for the most authentic Japanese hot cuisine in town. Udon is their specialty in my opinion, and they serve an especially delicious CURRY udon. It is out of the world. Tempura dishes are also on point, always freshly made, just like the way they are in Japan. There is almost always a long queue, so either go super early or late to avoid long queuing times."

"We had an evening meal in July just after lockdown eased. The venue is very well appointed, although the tables are laid out in rows and you might feel like you're in a school canteen when it gets busy. Food choices, service and quality...were excellent...... BUT..... and this is a big BUT...... it just isn't worth the money. courses, wine with meal and a few other drinks and you can easily spend per head. On that basis alone, I don't think I will be returning as i think you get much better value for money elsewhere."
