"My only complaint is that I haven't tried this place sooner! I live about a mile away from Golden Valley and have been meaning to give it a try for several months now, but today I finally have it a shot and I couldn't be happier! Everything about my experience was exceptional! The gentleman who helped me over the phone and when I went to pick up was very kind and friendly, even behind the mask, you knew he was smiling! The portion sizes are remarkable for the price and absolutely delicious! I got the lunch order of the Beef and Broccoli, my normal favorite, and everything was cooked perfectly! The broccoli was nice and soft with just a little crunch, the beef was thinly sliced and so tender, and then the sauce was the best part!! I'm always hesitant to try this at new places because too many restaurants have their own variations of the sauce, but Golden Valley was spot on and I couldn't get enough of it!! Just from that alone, I'm hooked now and will be coming back frequently! I also ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken and Vegetable Lo Mein and couldn't believe how full the to-go box was filled with my son's favorite noodles! Both entrees were delicious and a big hit with my very picky four year old! Thank you Golden Valley for such a satisfying lunch (and dinner tonight from all of the left overs), but also for being open for take-out during all of this COVID-19 craziness. You've got some new regulars!"

"This place is wildly expensive for what they get. I understand that with inflation everything costs more, but $20 for a simple sesame chicken plate and some crabs? I didn't even get a drink or a side! if that was phenomenal, it could be worth it, but it was barely edible. I ate a few bites and it made me gag, then my man tried it and got food poisoning later in the night. we'll never be back. I took the take-out and they did not seal the sweet and acidic sauce so that it spills over the bag and then over my car. it was just more money and stress than I was looking at the end of a busy day. if they want affordable, stress-free takeout, this is not the place."
