"Food was amazing server was super friendly! I don’t remember his name but he was extremely helpful polite and on top of things. To the 3 lady’s that ate here on the evening of Mardi Gras and left your sever a tip of a 0 with a line through it SHAME ON YOU!! Your bill was maybe $30 a $5 tip would not have killed you. Y’all are ass !!! To the server that had to serve them I’m sorry you went through that, i watched as you served them their food made sure their drinks were never less than half full and even boxed what was left of their meal to go! If you don’t want to tip don’t go out to eat!"

"We were comprehensible to come here for the bad reviews. We were pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere was clean and welcoming. The service was fantastic! Monty, our server, was so helpful and patient with the children. The food was hot and delicious!!! Even the rib was cooked for perfection! What a wonderful experience! Under new management now and it really shows!!!"

"What can I say about the Hobbnobber Cafe? OMG! So good!! And the portions were so much more than I expected. Let's just say I have enough for a full lunch tomorrow. I had the combo platter. The fish were perfectly flaky and the shrimp were tail-less. Finally a restaurant that removes the tails before frying the shrimp! The side of potato salad was perfect, no onions or pickles (there is a side choice of potato salad or regular salad . My son had the Tuesday special of troutalmondine, which came out fried-which was a little shocking because most restaurants grill it. But it was a larger sized portion of trout, covered with the slivered almonds (and I'm not sure if they had a sauce on it or not, but it lookedreally good. And I overheard a regular customer telling her aunt that she could get it grilled or blackened if she didn't want it fried. But as this was out first time there we didn't know what to expect, but we know now. I was a littletaken aback by the price, but after I added it all up (because we had an appetizer of mozzarella sticks and I added an order of their Braland Potatoes , I realized their prices are just as awesome as their food! They also have dailyspecials (Tuesday-trout almondine, meatloaf and mashed potatoes, something else I can't remember , that are reasonably priced, with portions large enough to satisfy this hefty appetite. ???? We will definitely be back!!"

"Food was excellent: fried eggplant appetizer was so good you don't need a dipping sauce. Entree selection is difficult because there are so many choices. Only downside was the wine selection.... They were out of several choices. We will definitely be back."
