"It was pretty crowded when we went and the service was slow. Our plates came out very sporadically and the water refills were space. The compound butter on the French toast was cold and made the French toast soggy, but the toast itself had good flavor. The biscuits and gravy also tasted pretty good. The accompanying potatoes didn't have enough flavor and didn't have the right texture for me. Cinnamon roll was good (I'd give it a 4 out of 5) and all the drinks were good. Cheese curds were a great appetizer and had nice sauce on the side. Overall, I wish I could give them a 3.5 star rating."

"I took my son and grandson on a Saturday night after the day in Philly Museum-Hopping (we drove from Northern Virginia to Fri for a long weekend). We had made reservations through Open Table, but really not necessary, as there were very few diners when we arrived. Not sure why, as it is a very welcoming environment. Maybe later in the evening (there is also a banquet hall and nightclub in separate areas of the same building, I believe that all part of the same facility). Our server was extremely gracious with my grandchildren (11 and 8) and very attentive to the needs of the entire group. The food was very good (I had New York Steak, my son had chicken, a grandson had Mac and cheese, and the other one Hamburger and Pommes), and the portions generous (especially for the guys). Also a beautiful and affordable bottle Pinot Noir shared with my son to supplement the meal. My only negative was that the side salad I ordered was much larger than I expected, but it was well joined and satisfying (although a tad light on dressing). All in all, it was a very pleasant experience, and we all enjoyed a very good meal at the end of a long day walking and standing. I would definitely return when I'm back in the area. Thanks for being exactly what we needed."

"Ate here before Covid when many people still avoided it due to it's stale reputation. Hope they're doing better now, but the food was very bland and uninspired for the price. The dining room was mostly empty. Unfortunately, the highlight was the bottle of wine we brought so it gets points for being a BYO."

"Went there for dinner before going to the Academy of Music for a show. My wife and I had a great experience with good service and food. They asked what degree of doneness we prefer (Medium Rare) and all of the meat was cooked perfectly. Serving sizes were good. Just the right amount of each type to try everything without feeling like we over eat.The Hot/Cold bar looked great. We didn't eat much from there ourselves, but the food did look good. Offered a great variety of options to break up your selections of meat.The deserts and cocktails were also very good.Would highly recommend a visit in a empty stomach. We were not disappointed and would go again in the future."
