Also, booking online gave us a tiny table at the rear of the restaurant, even though there were several spacious booths not being used. We were initially told that the booths are saved for groups of 6, however, when pressed we were re-seated. "I haven 't been here in years, because I live in Florida. It 's even better than I remember. We got an appetizer platter and everything was excellent. My guest and I got the Peking Duck three course dinner for two (Order a day ahead) and my wife got the sweet and sour chicken. First course: Duck skin with pancakes, very traditional dish. Excellent! Second course: Duck soup. Great flavor. Third course: Duck stir fry. I was so full I barely touched it but it was fantastic and a huge amount. My wife really liked the sweet and sour chicken. The service was also very good. Our waitress Autumn was very attentive and sweet. I highly recommend it."

"Ordered the chai tow kuey, vegetarian mee hoon, tahu goreng, roti chanai and teh tarik. The chai tow kuey and mee hoon were delicious. The tahu goreng was way too hot for me and the roti was too thick. Nice teh tarik. Great prices. Overall, quite happy with Hawker's Cafe and I'll definitely return."
