"This place is indeed a hidden gem, nestled in a quiet residential neighbourhood called the “Plateau”. I’m from out of town so this was a nice change of pace from the usually busy noisy Montreal restaurants. It’s very small, but cozy and lively clearly...loved by locals. The food was outstanding, I had the Korean tartar and it was unique and delicious. The whole dual seating times was a real bummer though, our server was rushing us from the moment we sat down and it truly took away from the evening. Would I go back? Yes, still. The value was high and it was a business meeting so I couldn’t try the Wednesday night chef special that was a lot of food and sounded awesome! No decaf espresso, Cappuccino was still great."

"This is a very nice restaurant on the lower level of the Holt Renfew Store on Rue Sherbrooke Ouest. Whenever we are shopping in downtown Montreal, we try to plan for lunch at Café Holt. We have had lunch here 6 or 7 times over...the years and have never been disappointed. The setting is clean and modern. Wine and spirits are available. On our most recent visit we had Salmon and Surf and Turf, followed by a dessert consisting of a selection of very small fruit cakes and topped off with fresh espresso. Wait staff are attractive and efficient. Enjoy, relax and plan the remainder of your afternoon shopping!"

"Started the evening at the bar with happy hours, Tony the Maitre D served us some appetizers. All were delicious and the drinks were awesome. Supper at 19:00 I had le Coq au vin and my brother in law had the steak. The food and service were excellent, their was a jazz and blues band playing, people are dancing and enjoying the evening. Overall an evening of fine food, wine and music. Thank you to Tony's team."
