"We were wandering through the port and came across this interesting and (claimed old restaurant. Good ambience and very relaxed compared to others. We had lunch. Crab soup was superb and an interesting concoction. The fish of the day was cod and very well cooked....We also had the herring four ways that was both interesting and enjoyable. Staff were welcoming even if (artificially diffident in English (hence not 5 stars! . Wines were surprisingly good notably the Pfalz. The prices were reasonable and hence overall value excellent."

"This restaurant felt truly authentic. The setting included model ships, old shipping adverts .. overall very well themed seafood restaurant. The food we ordered was true to its original recipe. Backfisch, Original panfish, krabben burger... all tasted really good. An unexpected freshly baked potato wedges added to our delight. The variety of dishes served here is dwarfed only by the humongous number of fish species swimming in the baltic sea. What’s even great was! The live music!! It was a 2 man band who sang German songs to the tune of their guitar. Overall it was a memorable experience. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Rostock!"

"We were eating spontaneously there with five people at noon. we were very welcome. I already knew the concept of the restaurant from vapiano. I personally find it a super concept that is unusual in a hotel for the first time, maybe not always fits, but here it has been great!! The hotel is still very new, what you can see at the personal also from time to time, but it was all harmonious! the food had a top price-performance ratio! I was very satisfied!The idea with the barrels to the pin of the wee I find mega!!!Come again!"
