"Our friend group came to Le Floris with high hopes, all of which were dashed by the end of the meal. High prices, understaffed, small quantities, mediocre food. The location is nice, otherwise there is nothing to recommend. Good luck to the team, there is work to do !"

"We went there with some friends in perfect late summer weather and were seated (we had obviously reserved on the charming, shady outside terrace. The choices à la carte are great and we opted for the much-talked-about chicken in salt crust (juicy and very good ...and the black cod (very good but possibly a little on the sweet side.. , thus neglecting the more obvious filets de perches (from THE lake and other tempting dishes. The excellent little miniardises and complimentary pre-starters nearly compensate for deserts and starters, though some deserts (especially the tartes and the ice-cream were outstanding. There is a good wine selection, from Switzerland and elsewhere, and the service is both good and friendly. The restaurant is located in this very cute village, close to the French border; a trek from the lake 's other side but definitely worth it. We shall definitely return!"
