"This place was cute and quaint. It had a New Orleana feel! We walked onto a beautiful patio area and then into a small indoor section for tables. Since it was the heat of the day we sat inside. We were the only customers and our lovely waitress made us feel so welcome and accommodated for. When we ordered sweet tea, she even brought us out an extra cup filled with ice since she knew it was hot outside and wanted to make sure that we had iced cold beverages. She was very knowledgeable about the menu, even down to how the plates were plated! Our drinks were never halfway empty due to her impeccable service. I ordered the small plate with the crab cake. I would say it was pretty small for being a stand alone dish, otherwise it was delicious and the crab was well cooked. My husband ordered a mushroom sandwich and asked to have chicken breast added. They were more than willing to accommodate his request! I would greatly recommend this place!"

"Great food and service. Very friendly staff and very accommodating for our two children. We all ate until we were full and went into our pockets with two more meals worth of food. Great neighborhood restaurant and good Italian food. I would recommend the Calimari as a starter who can keep up with the best that Chicago has to offer. We will come back 10 out of 10 experiences! ????????"
