"OH MY! I picked this place solely based on the fact that they had escargot. I got dressed up because it seemed seemingly upscale due to the pricing. Don't be fooled! It is more casual than I thought, but still so very nice inside despite what you see on the outside. I made it for happy hour and got 2 cocktails: the cucumber martini was refreshing and delicious! The old fashioned was full the the brim and so worth every penny! I was able to get a cup of chowder on the happy hour as well. My lord! Best soup I've had in ages. Great pieces of clams, fish and BIG gulf shrimp! Not to mention how crazy and flavorful. Definitely burned my mouth because I couldn't wait. The escargot was just as good if not better than the ones I've had at authentic French restaurants. Such good, buttery, garlicy morsels! Then the soft shell crab was superb as well but I was so full I could barely manage it. Of course I had to see if their sugar-free cheesecake was anything like the one my grandma whipped up and threw in the fridge. NO. It was LEGIT, thick, creamy and decadent as you would expect a full sugar cheesecake to be. Can't wait to get back to the hotel and eat it while I soak in the bath tub! "The first time here in general it was not bad. We usually came to Sky Bar for half the price, but thought we were trying another place. The waitress was attentive enough, answered the few questions we had. I'm glad we're here when we got it, we got a stand, then the place is filled quickly. Presentation of sushi rolls was nice, drinks full, empty plates cleaned, food was delicious."

"My friend and I had dinner there Soday, our waiter Justin was amazing, even after I frightened him.This place is Galveston's best secret secret! The food was really 5 stars, great wine, and again amazing service. I work for carnival, I'm one of their Punchliner comedians.
