"Good sushi in Mission Hills!The cold dishes were a little hit or miss, but the sushi itself was really delicious. There weren't a ton of fish options, which was surprising considering how exquisite the sushi we ordered was and how talented our chef seemed. We especially liked the fatty tuna!The service was also incredible. Our waitress was kind, helpful, and on top of everything. There was never a point where we needed something she hadn't already offered. There weren't a ton of other customers dining when we went, which we quite liked. We were the only people seated at the sushi bar so we got a front row seat to the action. The restaurant's decor combined with its tranquility facilitated a perfect date night ambiance. I definitely recommend this spot."

"Having been here a handful of times (more than Yelp states) and prior to COVID, during and recently.... employees have been friendly, quick, efficient and accommodating. Seating inside is available or take-out. We finly made it before 6pm, as the buffet closes at 6pm. Therefore we are all able to order different items. The beef and broccoli is one of my favorites. The chow mein is a bit dry, but qith some soy sauce goes down so smooth! The mushroom chicken qas really good, as was the teriyaki chicken and flavorful. The combos are very reasonably priced for the amount of food you receive. This is one of my go-to places in the South Bay to get Chinese food. We will definitely be back as this location is in my routine of places to support."

"The Golden Sparkling flavor is the best flavor we tried. Be sure to get the cream cheese balls, they are absolutely delicious. Note that the sauces that you pay a whole dollar for are like standard Heinz ranch etc so if you have sauce at home there's noreason to spring for sauce. I would subtract 1/4 of a star for that and 1/4 of a star for the fact that the chicken doesn't comewith any sauce for free, so it might be a little dry without that addon. Still, it was cheap, and the chicken was really good,so I round that back up to 5 stars."

"A much hyped place. We waited for about two hours to get a table on a Sunday evening. The servers treated us well. We started with some shrimp gyoza and fried chicken. Both of them were too good. Three of us ordered three different ramens, mine was with fried pork cutlet on top. The broth was nice, and the pork cutlet was terrific. Overall the ramens were pretty decent, however nothing extra ordinary."

"This was our first time here, from the Midwest. We loved it. We had the chicken and pork dumplings which you take a small bite into, drink the soup/broth and then eat the dumpling, was light and a delicious bite. The fried rice both the chicken and the pork (pork is like a pork chop placed on top see photo) was really good! We have the infused cucumbers as well not pictured and the garlic green beans which were amazing. The pear martini pictured definitely was strong but a good balance, definitely a little punch in your mouth.The overall experience was great. Family style experience and the staff were super friendly.Make reservations for this place ahead of time. Family friendly and fast service.For roughly 6 adults we easily spent 400 between drinks and food!"

"Staff was very friendly. They all greeted and assisted me as soon as I entered. The food was delicious and they made sure I was well accommodated. Interior decor is fun and sophisticated, a good spot for date night but their hospitality makes it feelhomey. Spent an hour at the bar just talking to the staff and eating good food. Treat them with patience and kindness and theywill go above and beyond for you."

"The service and overall dining experience at SongHak was wonderful. We ordered combo 3 which included Wagyu Beef Belly, Short Rib, Bulgogi and Pork Jowl. The staff helps you cook the meet if desired which makes everything more convenient! Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a KBBQ in San Diego."
