"I'd lie if I said I wasn't excited when I got a call from my out-of-state brother who informed me about one of the MY local restaurants. Apparently, it was revealed to him by Guy Fieri from the Food Network during a last episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Could it be possible that such a place could exist 4 miles from my home where I lived for 8 years? And after a quick search on the net to confirm my brother's claim, I came across the restaurant he spoke of, Joe's Farm Grill. A family owed 12 hectares of farmhouse since 1966, the family house had modern life in it in the form of something reminded of an episode of The Brady Bunch. But at Joe’s, the only children walking around the square are the customers instead of the middle class divorces that did not believe in birth control. The house was very successfully converted into a fully functioning restaurant. Cartridges like me cannot hold back voyeuristic images as the Johnston family can have been spent Christmas in the same room that now consider their choice of farewell. The restaurant is now surrounded by a still functioning farm, from which it fills its grocery stores and stands in absolute distrust to a contrasting sea of modern biscuit-cutter suburbs that surround it. This place was named something appropriate, “Agritopie”. When a Dines is at Joe's Farm Grill, the demanding gastronomy has the opportunity to sit near the customer-filled line that starts the selection process and finishes its payment. Or customers can dine in the family-friendly living room or outside in the Johnston family farm. If it is too hot outside, a combination of the numerous trees and an installed fog system offers customers a much needed awning from the intense Arizona heat. But when I was there, it was nice and cool and offered a completely pleasant atmosphere. The food would be a bit cramped for me. The food you ask? Well, the first obvious choice would be to choose from the red-colored elements on the menu. These are the articles that Guy Fieri showed on his show a few years ago. These include Fontina Burger, BBQ Chicken Pizza, Onion Rings and Ahi Tuna Sandwich. For the purposes of this review, I have bought the Ahi Tuna Sandwich $11.99) and with something they call “Garlic Fries” $3.99 if separately). You order your food and get one of these bright-up vibrating devices that send feelings from both excitement and seniority down your spine when it listens to the child behind the counter. The food will be delivered fresh from the open kitchen, from which you can see most culinary activities. If you decide to sit outside under the beautiful hundred years old tree that lives there, you can't help but notice the blowing sign mounted under it that it threatens the would-be tree climbers with death through scorpion or falling tree branches, they should choose to venture too close to it. One of the most inventive things I have seen so far is the spice fountain drink area. It's a bit hard to explain, but basically it's one of the most brilliant things I've seen in a while. Essentially it is a large steel wall with pipes that it offers ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise and other such things. They pick up a provided plastic contingency cup and spray some in them. Anyone who drips from the condiment pipes falls directly into a small river of water and right down into a world of unknown. It is literally a self-cleaning area. Brilliant. The iced tea is cold, crisp, refreshing and clear fresh. If you do not visit Joe’s Farm Grill for any other reason, go to the spices – it is worth the trip only for this experience. I would recommend eating at Joe’s Farm Grill. The food is a bit expensive, but in my opinion, the part of the cost of eating fruit and vegetables that are directly grown on the farm is free from harmful pesticides and cultivated with techniques such as plant rotation that helps prevent plant diseases. The meat they use for burgers, ribs and BBQ dishes is also local to Arizona. If the rest of their menu is indicative of what I had there, you'd be crazy not to get rid of it. Joe’s is one of those places that are usually known only to the locals, unless you have seen the T.V. spot), so it is a wonderful small place to also take from the visitors of the city, in an attempt to escape a community full of chained restaurants and corporate fast food joints."

"Come here often as it is convenient and I love how close by it is. I haven?t tried the food apart from snacks, but the sweet potato fries are delicious for $3 and I love the happy hour pretzel and queso! Their drinks are also very good. I don?t love beer but my friend has loved every beer he?s gotten from here. Great service with super friendly servers and owner!"
