"We've been here since university days, so for 20 years! decor is a bit outdated, but quality was always top notch and is still great tasting, easy, no frills Japanese eating. sashimi is always fresh, California rolls excellent, agedashi tofu, I think the best in town, teriyaki dishes all so delicious, tempura is crispy and light. everything on the menu is really well done. bring my 4 years old here now and she loves the teriyaki huh and is pampered by the friendly owners. unfortunately not as busy as before. was always a favorite and highly recommended."

"Went to the Barrack Street one for dinner and saw one of the employees handling the food the kitchen area is semi open and it is able to see the employees handling food and picking her nose after packing the food in a container for a customer to take home. The other locations around perth are clean and the food is delicious. However the Pepper lunch on barrack street was pretty damn gross."

"Absolutely delicious sushi! suki makes a delicious hot sauce and is always so courteous. I ordered the vegetarian sushi, tempura vegetables and sushi tempura, they were all really delicious. it's hard to find places that like to look for vegetarians and I'm glad I found this little sushi shop in south perth. sushi in perth!"

"Cute little Korean place with a hilariously out of place soundtrack (think Iggy, and Kanye, followed by a cheeky bit of Aqua. Dr Jones Dr Jones wake up now). The food is tasty, if a little haphazardly slapped together, and occasionally a little more greasy than you might expect. But, for a tenner you really can't go wrong with the Teppenyaki set (rest of Perth, please pay attention *COUGH $20 for tiny plate of meh COUGH*. My boyfriend is obsessed with the fried pork dumplings and pork meat soup. Meat party."

"Highly recommended. Perfect example of why you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. Located in one of the more neglected parts of Perth, Yoshiya is one of Perth's oldest dining gems the buildings outer facade gives no clues to the quality authentic Japanese dining available within. Really good fresh food, amazing miso, and friendly service from the staff. Gave 4 stars because it is BYO only, so stock up on Asahi and Sake on the way."

"Absolutely sets the standard for all other Japanese restaurants. Unfortunately as the years go by the portion sizes have gotten smaller, the quality goes down and the prices go up. I still go here and would still recommend it, especially for the bento sets. They are great value for money and very filling. A favourite is the Katsu Chicken! The BEST dish on the menu. The tuna sushi is also delicious, however expensive."

"Today I decided to have lunch at Gangnam in Carillon city. I got Kimchi and pork fried rice. The service was quick and the staff are friendly. It only took me for 10 mins waiting for my food. The food was ok and a little bit oily."
