"On the forecourt of Bahnhof Alstetten, with two late night supermarkets nearby, this is a convenient place to pick up a takeaway or stop off for a snack on the way home. Food: not so bad but the servings are fairly small. I had the...Cantonese Duck, a couple of nights ago,, (CHF20 and the Chicken Sweet Sour, the night previous to that (CHF16.50 and neither dish really lit me up. They were OK, nothing terrible, nothing special. You get a scoop of rice and a meagre main (with separate sauce . I've also eaten at one of the outside tables and I think you got slightly more by way of portion size. If you don't read German, the guy below explains that after 4 meals you get a free drink and after 10, a free (well, nearly free meal. On my next visit, I'm going to go outside my comfort zone and order something a bit more exotic (as they seem to do Thai, Indian, and other Asian choices . Scharf is actually quite tame (but this is the norm around here."

"Great take away, or eat in Thai food. Also great source of ingredients if you prefer to make your own. Really friendly staff, and lots of fresh Thai herbs. The shop part always draws me as you can buy so much that you can't get...elsewhere. There is a takeaway menu with more on it, but only at particular times, and the ready made curries are always excellent anyway, so why bother."
