"4 of us ate here on Friday and Saturday evening during the Kirkcudbright Jazz Festival. The people are very friendly, helpful and accommodating.The food is excellent, tasty and plentiful. We would definitely recommend this place and will be calling in again when next in the area."

"What a brilliant little family café in a beautiful part of the world. we went to the breakfast after staying in their sister hotel and it was the first price. very friendly staff welcome. the coffee was excellent, the best I had for years. breakfast was great, well dimensioned portion (even after I excluded a few items) and the best part, some good gluten-free options, something I did not expect, so was very happy! the quality of eating was brilliant and the price, a bargain, breakfast for two with coffee and juice, £10! I go back to a heartbeat!"

"After some serious book hunting around wigtown we stumbled in readinglasse for a afternoon coffee and what for a sound! great service, nice drinks the menu looked amazing, but the icing on the cake (literally was the homemade tiffin. to have my standard cake with a coffee, is either homemade sense or tiffin to find such an amazing selection of tiffins (now under the name "the quirky tiffin company" I was in the sky! the children had caramel salted and I had lemon lavender seriously delicious. I need to find many excuses to come back for more (although with tiffins like those who need an excuse!"
