"We had a fantastic time playing with chocolate, never to old for making your own chocolate. Included in the price of the workshop you get to create 3 different projects of chocolate plus get to eat what’s not been used. Would definitely recommend and a definite must to visit the shop to buy more chocolate. Lovely cafe with quality food and pleasant and welcoming staff. A very helpful and friendly lady on the desk, can’t remember her name but she’s only been there 2 weeks she certainly knows her job and enjoys what she does. Will certainly visit again"

"Dropped in for a late bite of lunch. Soup (potato vegetable) and a cheese scone. Delicious wholesome Scottish soup and lovely fresh, light scones with butter. Little pot of tea and a welcome with a smile. Made my day! Cash only."

"I was called after the kirkcudbright food festival and wanted to fill something healthy and to stop me until I am home. the young lady who served could not have been more helpful (sorry I am müll with names)! I had a coffee and the suppe of the day, the homemade mushroom proriac together with homemade brot were both so full of taste and filling to boot. this is a hurt place that one has to stop when they ever in the opposite! I hear it's a pie to die, but I didn't pamper this time, but maybe next time I'm in."

"Lovely quirky tea room with some decent food and pleasant staff. My only quibble which makes it a 4 instead of 5 star review. Is that they serve hot drinks in paper cups. And sandwiches etc in cardboard lunch boxes. I would much prefer proper cups and plates."
