"Loved the place even when it just opened felt like a hidden gem with amazing view on the canal. Apart from evening wine, also had some good brunch options. But these days very hard to get a spot on Thursdays and Fridays."

"Food was okay I expected to be wow because the restaurant is so nice and up to date. Service was okay for us, however we did see three lots of people leave after been seated and nobody showed up to take orders. Was a bit disappointed"

"We went on Paddy's day so it was very busy. But staff couldn't of been better and nicer with finding us a table. The guy serving us was amazingly nice to us and our kid. Made he feel like a vip. To give that service in what was a crazy busy day was so nice. And as usual the food was amazing. I tried the new spicy dough balls and loved them. Pizza was unreal also."

"A small, modern-vibe restaurant and wine bar hidden behind black-framed doors in the Merrion Row restaurant district. Only tall bar-side seating for one individual's reservation. Came in 30 minutes before my reservation and was offered the tall seating as expected. Environment: small and narrow interior, seats and tables are a bit small, need to put in some work to squeeze around, music and noise could be a bit loud. Service: friendly, reommended the oysters to me. But it took about 15-20 minutes after my oysters and the starter of croquettes till the main course was served. Raw: daily oyster from the west coast of Ireland. Small to medium size, rich and vibrant flavor of seaweed, briney mineral water, and egg white. Sauce was a bit too vinegary for me. Starter: hake and chorizo croquettes. Hot, crispy outside, hake flesh tasted wild and nutty, but seasoning a bit too salty. Went well with the house mayonnaise. Main Course: steamed halibut. Halibut steamed to perfection, sauce adding sweet and savory flavor to the filet. Mushrooms are a bit bland and redundant; wish seaweeds or samphire would be served. Over all: 4-4.5 stars. Solid place, maybe better for lunch than dinner since the place has relatively limited space."
