"Absolutely fantastic! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We both had the duck breast which was beautifully plated with an assortment of perfectly cooked vegetables. It had a nice sauce which was light and sweet without being too much. We decided to splurge for dessert and order a grand matinee soufflé which was amazingly light and delicious. The restaurant filled up while we were there but the noise level was still low. We read that this was rated one of the best restaurants in Montreal and this meal confirmed that accolade."

"This place is really overrated Italian place. I think this is a location that really buys into having a pretentious dining experience. The food was mediocre with an extremely high price tag. It felt like really simple food that was described in a very fancy way. I cannot justify it here for this price tag with the quality of the food that I had. The first item I got was a octopus with very thin paper, almost slices of octopus. But a Puss was definitely not as fresh as I was expecting. It seemed overcooked and then sliced thin so you wouldn't notice that it was over cooked. The rabbit Ragu pasta tasted like over cooked chicken in a plain marinara sauce. There was very little protein are in need of actual which is really disappointing for $25. The stuffed pasta taste like the items you can get a Costco, filled with ricotta and spinach. Again for $25. The pineapple dessert was equally disappointed, and tasted like pineapples that you get from a can that are soaked in simple syrup for $15. Even the red wine that we got tasted very much like vinegar. This is an overhyped restaurant, and I would not come again"

"We were a larger group for dinner, and this turned out to be a perfect place to celebrate - all different dishes were great, like the appetizers. And the service was also very good. Since we were a larger group, we could try to start... many different things (cheek cakes, grilled octopus and garlic shrimps were the real standouts) and the most important courses were all outstanding- cod, lamb frame and seafood (like Paella) were the favorites. The cocktails were much fun, but most of us tried different wines before you stay for the meal - and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. Finally we tried Desserts, and their (imported from Portugal) Natas (Ccustard tarts) were excellent! The team of servers was very attentive, and the waiter really knew his wines and had good suggestions for those who like to drink more picky about what they like. The restaurant was not loud, although it was quite full, and it had a very cool mood. Everyone had a funny time whether they were couples, women's night or families, and I would go back to try some of the other dishes I tasted. The washrooms are also unique!"

"This restaurant offers different fare at lunch and dinner (it is closed Sundays and Mondays). Both are really worth trying for the food, attentive and caring service, and relaxed environment. The place is also a school during the academic year, where people are trained, and...this seems to me very positive. During one week last July, we had dinner three times and lunch once. Lunch and dinner have different menu but both are really worthwhile for their quality, presentation, reasonable price and very good and attentive service in a non-obtrusive way. The chef is inventive and some dishes turn out better than others, but I can recommend their duck as excellent and I really liked a dish of lobster with marinated bison. Dishes are excellently presented in appealing ways that include some colorful and edible little flowers. The wine list is sufficient and, for two people, some of their half bottles are a good deal."

"Delicious, inventive food (it’s a fixed menu, based on the ingredients of the season, with 2 appetizers and a choice between two entrees and two desserts, but accommodations are made upon request), perfect wine pairings, a cozy, elegant setting (the building is former rectory and Sunday school of St. Joseph’s Church, built in 1861 and tucked away on a quiet, verdant lane in Little Burgundy), and a warm, friendly, impeccable service. One of my best meals in Montreal."
