"Über Tripadvisor sind wir auf dieses Lokal aufmerksam geworden und hatten uns sofort für einen Besuch entschieden. Uns wurde eine kleine, feine Karte vorgelegt. Da wir gerne von allem ein bisschen probieren, hatten wir uns für das 4 Gang Menü entschieden. Zum Start gab es knuspriges, warmes Brot mit 3 verschiedenen Dips. Danach folgte ein Gruß aus der Küche. Makrele mit Streifen von Kohlrabi und Sorbet! Einfach klasse! Unser Menü war dann ein Streifzug durch die Speisekarte. Einfach nur lecker und kreativ. Die Speisekarte wird ca. 3-wöchentlich umgestellt. Wir hatten einen tollen Abend und kommen wieder."

"The Michelin starred ”Nero” restaurant at the helm of well known chef Erika Bergheim enlightened a final night's stay at hotel Hugenpoet perfectly for us. To my own surprise it was so good that I still remember some of the dishes; the ingenious shrimp and crab salad, the lamb with herb ravioli and the ”french toast” (!) desert. I couldn’t help comparing with Nils Henkel’s restaurant at Schloß Lerbach or Vendôme att Schloß Bensberg – both quite near just outside Cologne and both holding three Michelin stars. In our opinion Nero was - at this particular visit - just a great experience. In any case, you would be unwise not to appreciate the excellent price/performance here. Service impeccable. Food memorable."
