"This has always been a holiday favourite but it felt extra special this time, so much so we visited several times for Sunday roast and quiz, a drink and takeaway and then a few drinks and a late lunch. Service was great every time, very friendly and helpful, and the pub generally was brilliant with a local but friendly vibe. We've been here many times in the past and it's always been good but this year it felt a cut above."

"Great pub for vegans. Plenty of options. We had mushroom wellington and baked sweet potato and chickpeas, both very tasty and good portion size. Staff very friendly and dog friendly. Would recommend and come back again :"

"Terrible customer service, arrived yesterday just before 2pm. Asked for hot food and a rude voice from the kitchen shouted the kitchen is closed Terrible customer service and as it turns out very over priced food, I had a scone with butter, asked for some jam and was charged 75p for a tiny plastic tumbler of jam.. Won 't be visiting again!"
