"The service was excellent, but the food was entirely too spicy. Even my husband who likes spicy food could barely eat his. The waiter was great and noticed that I could not eat mine, so he didn't charge me. If you really enjoy spicy food, you will love this restaurant."

"Breakfast is really good, great variety and food is always fresh and tasty. Tried the Eggs Benedict, fried eggs over easy with biscuits and gravy and mexican roll-ups. The Eggs Benedict were a bit overcooked, but the hollandaise sauce made up for it. Unfortunately the service was awful, toast arrived after we had finished our meals, server never checked on us or asked us if we needed anything, ended up getting our own check. Pity that the server reduced what would have been a great experience. I still recommend you try the Blue Plate Cafe, the food is good and worth taking a chance on the service."
