"Came for my second visit on Sunday at 5 PM with a friend who had raved about The Ready Set 's steak frites. For $30 I got six bites of unseasoned steak butterflied at temp well done. I ordered medium. The frites were not warm, kind of stale, and unseazoned. My friend tested them and thought they weren 't the same as her prior visits. Had to ask for salt and ketchup and we all know fries have to be seasoned straight out of the fryer. They weren 't salvageable. The skinny water glasses The Ready Set has, mostly empty. We got one refill. Patrons at a table sitting near a cooler started to pull water from the cooler. The bartender shouted at them not to drink that, that it was old water. I felt like I was in an episode of Kitchen Nightmares with food coming out whenever, it being improperly cooked, and cold, and way too much money for what you get. Even if it had been done well, $30 for a small steak and some potatoes can be gotten at many other places. It would 've been nice to have management and owner presence and support at the expo station or in the dining room. I would 've gladly given this information to a manager that came around. It was checking, but there were none to be seen."
